Hi, I’m Rajani!
I’m a PADI-certified Dive Instructor and a passionate advocate for marine sustainability, with over 20 years of diving experience exploring some of the world's most stunning oceans. Diving, for me, is not just an adventure; it’s a meditative escape from the fast-paced world, similar to yoga, helping me reset and reconnect with nature. When I’m underwater, the noise of the surface fades away, and I believe that diving can offer the same sense of calm and balance to others.
Founder biography and background
I’m also deeply committed to protecting the marine environments we explore. I’ve been accredited by the Dubai Government, Abu Dhabi Government, and several other organizations for my contributions to marine conservation, totaling over 600 hours of community service in the UAE, for which I was granted the Humanitarian Pioneer Golden Visa. This includes initiatives like supporting dolphin spotting around Fujairah, aiding the turtle museum in Fujairah, and participating in shark and ray awareness programs at the National Aquarium in Abu Dhabi.
Professional credentials and certifications
One of my significant projects involved leading a program on Crown of Thorns starfish (COTS) and working with the University of Khor Fakkan to study their impact on our ecosystems. I also contributed to the recovery of ghost nets, which were processed and recycled into benches for the Abu Dhabi Museum. Additionally, I had the privilege of conducting a motivational talk for Year 6 students about my journey to becoming a PADI professional.
